Expect the unexpected?
Went for harmoc annual general meeting (AGM) to get my 50% subsidy for the $175.50 harmoc n to look look see see with bel bel... if i've known the way the exco is chosen, i've choosen to go home instead lor! I attended the meeting as a normal member, nv expecting that i'll walk out as part of the exco, being the welfare coordinator!? Har?? Someone who's not good at organising outings and plan fun events... hmmm
Basically, i think all newcomers who went for the AGM walked out with a position... me dunno kenna arrowed to go out how many times... n managed not to get voted by not marketing myself... until the last post of the welfare came and i'm the only newcomer amongst the nominees present... somehow or other, they were very eager to let newcomers take on the role and this is how i become part of the exco despite saying "u shld not vote for me!". My senior standing beside me was like telling me, hey, say u want the post la... i help u think of good answers for the qns -_-...
This is really so unexpected... it happened so quickly that i dunno how to react... quite lost now actually... but then i shld also be glad in a way as this is considered the most slack post in the exco liao. N since the responsibility is given to me, i shld try my best to fulfill the duty, and treat it as a learning experience bah... sounds so cliched... hahaz..
